Hey guys, it's Megan!
I recently posted a video showing some DIY Wall Art you can make using things you have at home. If you missed it, you can check it out here!
One of my favorite projects in this video was this faux wood hanging poster frame. I honestly don't know what these are called, but they sell them at places like Urban Outfitters, etc.

For this project you'll need:
* Cardboard
* Ribbon
* Paper
* A hot glue gun
* Wood print contact paper (optional)
* Mini Magnets (optional)
Start by drawing whatever you’d like on your paper.
If you’re not a huge fan of drawing, you could always print something out.
I drew these Keith Haring inspired figures.
To make the frame, I measured the top edge of my drawing on a piece of cardboard, and cut out 4 strips that were 1 inch wide.
I covered each strip with wood print contact paper. If you don’t have contact paper, you can find a wood grain pattern online and print it out to make DIY scrapbook paper. Or just cover it with any other paper you have on hand.
I took two of those cardboard pieces and hot glued some mini magnets on the back.
If you don’t have magnets, no worries. Just hot glue the cardboard strips to the top and bottom of your paper.
To finish the frame, use a little more hot glue to stick a piece of ribbon to the back of one of the cardboard strips.
If you used magnets, you can stick your drawing in between the two top pieces, and add the other two on the bottom.
Again, if you don’t have magnets, just hot glue the cardboard pieces on to the top and bottom of your drawing.
And that's it! If you're looking for more DIY room decor ideas, check out these posts:
